Reentry Awareness Month

June is Reentry Awareness Month, a time to recognize our social responsibility to assist with the transition from incarceration back into the community. St Michael’s has been invited to participate in at least two of the events, which are co-sponsored by the Campaign to End the New Jim Crow, From the Block to the Boardroom, and the Mercer County Reentry Task Force.

On June 3rd at 12pm, there will be a kick-off rally at the Trenton Battle Monument. St Michael’s has been invited to speak briefly on our commitment to ending gun violence in Trenton. For more information on the rally, click here.

Then on June 10th at 10am, there will be a speaking program at Mercer County Community College (James Kerney Campus). This event welcomes Marcus Bullock, whose presentation is entitled “From Prison to Tech Entrepreneur.” For more information on this event, click here.
