David Brearley, Senior

I’m not buried here. That’s why my number’s just on a rock. Maybe this rock will even find its way down to the spot where my friends busted me out of Trenton’s jail in 1747! The story is coming out soon. Very few people know that we MIGHT HAVE broken away from the British, or at least tried to, back in my day! — WHAT a STORY!! Wait til you hear how we had it in for Colonel Coxe at this English Church!

I was so proud of my David, let me tell you!! He put it to them.. and then became First Warden of the very church that the Coxe’s used to lord it over us in! They call that IRONY. Which brings me back to the irons my friends freed me from! I coulda been hanged, you know.

Now check out my son David’s place at St. Michael’s!
